The guy has spent over 100K getting this bike to run without breaking parts left and right so how do you expect to make one with more hp. I would really like to know, people just think they can stick a built street bike motor in a quad frame and go. It really shows the ignorance of people. By all means if you can come up with tougher parts than top fuel bike drag stuff then maybe you can make one with more hp. Good luck |
There are a few transmissions that would hold up to that abuse, I drag race motorcycles, and we have done a few projects, not quite to this caliber, we concentrate our money on bikes. But if you were to call Barry Henson at Velocity Racing, I am sure he could set that bike up with the right transmissions. If a Frank Booth can run a 701HP busa in the salts, you can get one to run in the sand. (I know there is a difference) But talk with Tim and Roger if you have a chance, and know them well. Tell them to get ahold of Barry.
That thing is badass, just watch out, because there is some fabrication brewing in Wisconsin that is coming after that quad, thats all I can say right now, so Roger better step it up a little.
