The "Pro's" ride those quads because they have to, if they want to be a factory rider. If the companies wouldn't have bitched an moaned about it, the TRX250R would still be owning the mx series.

It's a fact, the big companies are pushing 4-bangers, that is the only reason there are no 2-strokes in the pro PRODUCTION classes. I have seen and read multiple interviews where the pros wish they could still run their 2-strokes, and I bet in their off time they still do.

The one thing I'm tired of hearing is "the pro's ride them, so they are the best quad". The one's who say that act like 10 year olds with a life time subscription to skirtwheels.

If you want to see just how "bad" these new 4-bangers are, I have a video of the ocala florida flat track open PRO class, and my buddy on a 250r beating the hell out of highly modified 450's. The video shows hole shots at first, and if you notice in the main they start him out LAST in the back of the pack, and he still walked off and left the 450 once he got around him.
