no the new wr"s are four strokes but the older ones were 2 stroke and ya there a good bike fun to ride suspesion is set up more for trails id say it would be a really fun trail bike but i find alot of 2 strokes not the greatest for trails but hell for 600$ not a bad deal at all id grab it up
