well, I dont know if gearing for sand is any different than gearing for dirt, but I run a 12t front and 36t rear with 20'' inch holeshot tires. I think a 15t front would be a little tall for 22'' tires, enless your bike has the balls to pull it. the 12t would work alot better with the taller tires, and maybe go a little smaller in the rear, like a 37 or 36t.
my bike has pretty good top speed for drag racing as well as good low end for tight trails. |
