no you are correct ... his book is old as youve stated, but its still very relevant and contains some really good info over the other tuners books .my humble opinion is i dont know why people think crank case stuffing is so critcal when theres plenty of dynos that prove it does little in producing added power gains ,this goes back to the rd400 GP days when they were trying to squeeze ever last bit of power out and didnt see much of any improvment by doing so .IMHO the manufacturers got it right in alot of ways even back in the 70's .just my 2 cents
