I have +1 on my R, and I can get throught the trails just fine with stock wheels while its much more stable in the dunes. I wish it was long travel but I just have standard travel laegers. A 310pv would be a nice setup, or a non pv 330, or a alky stock jug motor. My alky stocker is freaking sweet for playing around, I can lug hills with a 14T on the front no problem. It still has good power everywhere else too. I think the motor can be made to work no matter what deal you fall into. Dont forget ignition, I am a firm believer now that is one of the most important mods on a R. |
