Allright icic, now your saying the clutch gets better as it warms up... it is common for a clutch to stick after its been sitting for a while, its like a skin-friction that needs to be broken before it can work properly after all the oil settles ... Ex) if i jump on my banshee and kick it into gear with my clutch lever all the way in after its been sitting a week, it will just launch forward and stall out... So what i do is hold my clutch in and give it a few revs as i kick it into gear, this puts more torsion on the clutch to break that initial skin friction and its good to go...
I would recomend you change your oil to whatever is recommended for your climate, its really not going to matter if you switch oil weights. See if that helps, from there you can look into opening up your clutch, its actualy not as bad as it looks, nothings comes flying out, its really straight forward. . Only thing is that you need to reset a gasket so the oil doesnt leak out |
