have you ever raced quads at all before this? and have you ever even rode quads much before?

if your just starting out than I almost want to say that in your situation it would be the easiest to just get a 450. they are pretty much built to race, much like the motocross bikes. and they are easy to ride and easy to go fast with on the track once you get some seat time and get the hang of everything. and then once you got some good experice I would think about tradin or sellin the 450 and get a nice 250r and then you should be able to out-do the 4 strokes at the track.
