heres the history of his quad and the future plans..

"Ok guys.. So picked up this 2002 Banshee from the Repo Man a couple years ago. Shee came with Black Front End, Silver Grill Cover, White Rear End.
Previous owner didn't pay up & registration was outdated, Bike was found garaged in Sacramento California & made it's way So Cal till it found a home with me.

The Banshee came with some huge tires & ugly rims. Local shop Repot Depot gave me credit towards those wheels & replaced them with 10" ITP's & Holeshots for the dirt!
Of course Shee was going to need sand shoes as well So I got her 10" Black ITC C Series wheels with Haulers in the back, Sandstars in the front.

The only mod Shee came with was the Toomey 5 pipes which I love & think is my favorite part of the bike. Pipes were bare metal so hit them with a Black Ceramic Coating. That's where the Blackout Plague began so I sprayed Black Enamel on the hubs, bumper, springs, Bars, & hit the radiator cover with Black Fusion. Soon after found rear Black Plastic.

I threw out the stock heelguards & radiator grill which I replaced with my home made mesh grill. In the process also tossed out the E-Brake system & Stock Skid Plate & Dust Covers.
Throughout this time I've recieved a few gifts like the Trail Tech Lights, Black Fly Bars, IMS Kickup Pegs & Tors Removal Kit.

So I spent the money on 8 tires & 8 rims to assure Dirt & Sand rides. Had a bit of money left had to decide between motor mods or suspension mods.
Cylinder compression was good & stock suspension was beating me up so It was a must to replace the suspension first.
I came accross the gussetted Quicksand +2+1 A Arms & threw some 2004 YFZ450 Shocks on them. Found both used on the forums. Small mod on the shocks & they fit perfect.
The rear end got a +2 G Force Axle from Rocky Mountain & runs on a stock shock since it's still in good condition. This made riding more comfortable & enjoyable.
I ride miles & miles of trails & ride far into the dunes, stock tank didn't hold enough fuel for me so I replaced stock tank with IMS 4 gal tank.

So now you know a bit about this Banshee but I have future plans too.
The topend is ready for a rebuild, I'm runnin low on compression so no better time to port than now. I've already tossed the whole airbox setup & replaced with K&N Pods.
Also added V Force 3's, found a killer deal on Motosport.com, they were like $125 shipped.

So after much research & I decided to do the following:
370Banshee get's the cylinders for an MX/Dune port: http://forums.everything2stroke.com/...70banshee.html
Flotek Performance get's to shave the the Head & Flyweel: http://flotek.everything2stroke.com/
GB Racing will get my harness shortened & I'll buy their CDI Mount Plate: http://gbracing.everything2stroke.com/
Passion Racing for fresh bore, hone, and chamfer with wiseco's, and gaskets. I think Jim has the best price, $240.00: http://forums.everything2stroke.com/...passionre.html
ATVSuspensionTech will get the shocks for revalve/respring. Joe goes thru TCS & the quote he gave me is cheaper than going directly thru TCS: http://www.atvsuspensiontech.com/
I'll also get a Ricky Stator plate & advance the timing. Maybe get a Cool Head if the right deal comes along.

I already starting shaving off some of the useless tabs. Once I finish my motor mods then I'll PC the frame in a bright mettalic silver! Maybe I'll add some bling at this point.

I ride the usual West Coast sandboxes. Glamis, Dumont Dunes, Pismo Beach.
I can't wait to put the power down on the sand. Thanks to E2S for existing & all the great help recieved here!!!!"
