yamaha sucks

will i was looking for a new street bike and think lets see wat about a new shee so i checked out the yamaha web page and what would ya know no more shees or blaster in there line up dam goverment and there testings trying to have some fun and someone always has to ruin it for everyone the peaple that put out the standerds for testing must ride 4 strokes and got tiered of always getting beat by a 2 stroke so thay came up with this plan to get rid of them just had to vent

Go to Canada, Banshee's are still in their 2007 lineup, and some dealers have leftover 05's and 06's, you just have to beat the bushes and find one...and yeah, I agree all that money into 4 stroke R & D and still can't beat a quad that's virtually unchanged for 20 years. That's pretty sad.

theirs really no point in buyin a new banshee...when you can go out and buy an already modded banshee...it will save you alot of money

Agreed. Why buy new when you're gonna take more than 1/2 the stock shit off, and throw it away, i.e; exhaust, TORS, airbox lid & snorkel, keyswitch, parking brake, etc. etc.

I wouldn't knock yamaha too much. I give them credit for hangin on to the banshee and blaster as long as they did when all the other companies bailed out in the early 90s. It still pisses me off that they're gone though.

I dont give yamaha all that much credit for sticking with them because when was the last time the banshee was updating too keep it competitive in stock trim(suspension wise)?

I bought my CR250 through Canada and saved a bunch of coin. It was worth the road trip. I even got it new in the crate. It's worth lookin into, if you want a new one.
