| I've been saying that for a while now, along with a couple other people on here. A new 4 stroke, 450 especially, are pushing to much power for the engine to handle. Those they blow the fuck up alot more, and waste topends more frequently. That is the COLD HARD FACT. Now all the 4 stroke owners need to read that and shut there mouth about 2 strokes needing more maintenance. 2 strokes for life

| no doubt about that....my buddy with the 06 trx 450 rides like crazy and pokes fun at us 2 strokers for sittle to rest and cool down....his ass is going to burn up or blow up and i will ram it down his throat.... |

| four storkes take so much more mantenence. they can be soo reliable if they arent on roids.. all the new 450s are pumping out too many horses. 4 strokes were meant to be slow. and when u try to make them go fast they break easier and take more maintnence. sure u have to do topends on 2 storkes. but u have to adjust valves on 4 strokes. and thats is hella harder and costs more then throwing a piston and rings in a 2 stroke. and even I cna throw a set of rings and a piston in my bike fairly easy.. 2 storkes forever. meant to be fast meant to be fast and still reliable. unlike 4 strokes .. |

| That's right. Like the 450's or not, if you own one, you had to become an epa -> manufacturer bitch to ride it. Buying all those expensive replacement parts just help offset the high cost of manufacturing those poor 4strokes on steroids. Marketing dollars were well spent on you, sucker. | booooooooooooooo yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i;ve been tellign people this for a very long time... but nobody listened to me.... i'm nto sure i agree with the 4 pistons a year though... haha... i go through about a top end a year.... depending on how much i ride the quad..... my trail snail gets ridden the most... and my tecate the least.... 2 strokes are faster, easier to maintain and wrench on, and less expensive..... oh and lighter...... so why is there a 4 stroke revolution again.... oh yeah "i wanna put gas in and go... i dont wanna mix anything" theres the line i always hear.... your lazy?... now it;s gonna cost ya hahahahahahahaha

| the only 4 stroke Id ever buy would be a honda 400ex, cause they arent all high strung and stuff, but my blaster is still almost as fast as a stock one.......even with only 90psi of compression.....haha
