There is not a solid aluminum jug for the R, maybe a aluminum sleeve but not a solid alum jug, And if those numbers are Trinitys quote than you just proved my point thanks.

How does the 330R get beat by the DS 650 in the sand drag? Sounds a little hard to belive.

If we want a fair test why not line it up with a quadzilla, 500cc is closer to 450 then 330 is. If they want to consiter themselves equal then run it against an equal cc bike. now I know the zilla is a long bike and on the track would get eaten but in the dunes I would think it would eat up the ltr. that would be an interesting battle, flagship zuki of the past to flagship zuki of today. stock for stock. I would have gladly let them run mine for the test. was pretty much stock accept for bars, pipe, .020 over bore and no airbox lid. Would love to see the type of results with that test

The tranny whine is solved by running different oil. the frame has been corrected and if yours is one of the first few still with the problem suzuki will fix it for you.

I have a ltr450 and my best friend a lt500. the 450 is stock but im adding the cherry bomb and a air filter. the cherry bomb changes the fuel injection to the race map. after adding that and changing the filter and removing the sparkarrestor it makes a huge difference. and for only the $40 Cherry bomb and a air filter you go from the slowest to the fastest 450.

I will compare the 450 the zilla and are new raptor at the dunes next spring with good video.

All i can say is that 450 beats the zilla on a race acrost my 4.5 acre field, but the zilla just spins the 22" tires and goes no where while the 450 still spins the 18" tires but still grabs enough to acelerate faster then the zilla. they both have new tires. the raptor is really high geared IMO but has enough torque to still pull it off. top speed the zilla would def. smoke the 450 but it geared more for dunes and top speed. where the 450 would take most other quads is the track. that is what it is setup for. so to make the 450 hang with the zilla it would need some mods but it could be done. Same with taking the zilla to a track. it would take a few mods the zilla could be made to hang with the 450 at the track.

Dyno's are completly worthless to talk about in a forum. they are pretty much only good for tunning your bike or dynoing several quads on a same day to get an accurate comparison.
