Well, thats interesting. I thought they were slow. I've raced 2 of the 450s and beat both. Maybe they didnt know how to ride. I think the YFZ is faster. But a nice article none-the-less. Thanks.

September ATVSPORT if anyone wants more on the KTM 576 stuffed in the same TRX frame as the 330. They had cryogenics done on all motor parts after fatigue problems.

My good friend has a LTR now with the Yoshi Ex, Yoshi PIM, and a open air filter and that sucker flat moves. It was pulling a YFZ dynoed at 54.9 last time out, it feels like its not doing much but it gets right with it. It wasnt a mis match either, the YFZ and the LTR had light weight riders, 21" haulers, and even holeshots each time. The LTR needs some mods from the factory but dollar for dollar in the motor it is the fastest 450.

Yes it did, run that good. I dont know where you get the 15 bikes from, this is first hand info buddy. It is a dramatic difference what the LTR will do when setup properly with a good rider. I have heard there is one guy already with one running a DRZ intake cam, ported head, PIM running custom map, Yoshi EX, and the intake pulling 55hp on a tough dyno. I think its only a matter of time before people show up with big injectors running alky and programs that compensate for air while on alky. Talk about a perfect power curve on alky, that will be a runner.

Hey Denny that 55hp was on the LS dyno, which isnt probalby the most acurate dyno. But it runs real hard, his old KFX that ran real well barely ran with it in the dunes before he made some more mods to the YFZ. It was ESR pipe, 14:1 piston, Cams, intake, etc, etc. I dont think the LTR actually made as much hp as the YFZ but it is so much smoother and consistant that it runs right with the YFZ. We will have to get some video of the LTR running sometime.

OK I have a 250R with a 265 kit pipe carb EXC stuff ya need I raced Fixed up 450's LTR TRX YFZ They had bigbore kits Except the Ltr it had shaved head pipe filter different electronics they were all very impressive but NOT bragging I beat all of them they switched atv's and still beat them me staying on my R Now the HP
YFZ 36.4 TRX 34.8 LTR 37.2 EFI the ltr is the Heaviest of all of them
YFZ350lbs TRX350lbs LTR368lbs TRX250R 323
Now they all had around 58 rwhp I have 55.9 on dyno.Fresh motor
When we raced I would pull three Lengths bye 3rd gear and at the end witch was about a half mile or so maybe a little less I would have them bye about 12 lengths
So to me it seems as if they 4 strokes are getting Slower Every one on here that has raced them nows this is the truth So thats my Opinion on the bikes I dont now if it helped but there it is

now that sounds pretty impressive, but maybe alittle exagerated if u ask me. your 250 sounds more like a banshee killer. what kind of gearing did you have to be racing a half mile and beat those 450's by 12 lengths??? and it sounds like those guys couldnt ride very good either

So they all had more hp than you but your 15 bikes faster, HHMMM. Not to mention if they are putting out 58hp on a all around bike and your making 55.9 on the same dyno I would like to know where this dyno is. Sounds like its throwing out some real nice high numbers.
