Default Debate over atv laws in WI NOT COOL

I open up the local paper today to read Wisconson is looking at passing some new atv laws for the future years because atv registration has serpased snowmobile registration in the last few years and deaths on atvs have also rising.

I can understand a helmet law for riding on state trails or any registerd trails. but they are also talking about banning all 3-wheelers. Thats not cool. The thought of not seen any 250rs on these trails and not getting to look at these trikes as we take a brake from riding at one of the local food stops makes me sick to my stomach. I am a big fan of 3-wheelers and am just starting to collect them. Sorry but both of mine are 4 strokes (200x & atc70) but I will find that 250r in the barn one of these days and I'll want to ride it dam-it

Well if it does pass I'll tell ya what! I'd take that Tecate of your hands for ya. That way you wouldn't half to worry about it just sitting around.

That's why we all need to ride responsibly in public places. These liberal fucks see someone tearing ass down their road and it just adds fuel to the fire, let's not give the ATV community a bad rap from some bad apples, just like the paintballers get shit on because of some dumb fucks not wearing masks.......

It's sad that many laws are made as a direct result of rider idiocy. Regardless that the guy who got hurt was drunk or stoned, or that mommy was too stupid to make her 1st time rider kid wear a helmet, we all pay the price. Around here new laws are in the works as a direct result of moron asshole punks riding wheelies and doing stoppies on the street with their rockets. I don't give two shits how cool you might think that crap is, it belongs in a parking lot. I see dumbasses racing their quads down the main streets in town all the time. Riding wheelies, doing burnouts. Real cool, thanks for the new laws assholes.

I can't remember how many riding areas I've lost access to just because ONE asshole just HAD to ride outside of the allowed area. Why did he do it? SImple, because there was a sign that said no. Theres a 100 acre riding area I JUST found yesterday. Mostly sand pits and dunes. Wow, I never knew shit like that existed in maine. Guess what? Theres a town meeting later this month to vote on closing it down. Why, you might ask? Seems the local punks are too lazy to walk the 100 yards from the entrance, across the street, to get a drink from the local store. Nooooooooo, they have to ride their quads across the street, and while they're at it, they have to burn cookies and wheelies up and down the tar. So, now the town wants the entire area closed off to ATV's. 100 acres lost cause idiots are too god damned stupid to obey a simple, and VERY REASONABLE, law.

ill remember that, but i dont think i could stop riding it even if they pass some type of law on it.

yea and about the breaking laws, thats around here too, like some people on the road i live on every time they take their wheeler out just have to tear the hell out of the road. yea i do rip down the roads alot so im not gonna bash that, but thats my main transportation for another month or two, use it to get to work, town (atv trail in there) and other stuff.
