i can say personally. i have only been ridin about 4 years, and i will NEVER stop, there is just nothing like being out in the woods with a group of buddies tearin shit up... there is nothin i would rather do in my spare time than ride.. any problem you have disapears as the powerband hits and u try to hold on :-)

yeah that article was written in the 90s. Bombardier is one of our last hopes for the 2 stroke revival. cross your fingers they man up and put a 2 stroke rotax engine in one of their "can-am" sport atvs. They still have 2 stroke jetskis, snowmobiles, and they are hard pushing their 2 stroke evinrude motors. They own skidoo seadoo johnson and evinrude. If they put a clean burning 2stroke in an ATV and it sells like wildfire, which i bet it would because everybody like us would just have to get one, just in support of 2 strokes, that other companies would take notice. Reason they like making 4 strokes is there is more maitnence money to be made on them. Valve ajustments. 3000 dollar engine builds. same reason they are switching to 4 strokes in MX the engines arent any more reliable than 2 strokes and cost like 10 times as much to work on and are more complex. therefore the dealer makes more money selling more replacement parts and doing more services in house because its not as simple as a new piston and rings be on your way...

its hard to say but two strokes are a dying breed. Too mant dumbasses in this world i guess. Every two stroke has it place in ATV/Bike world. Banshees will be forever known as power houses, 250r's are hands down the best MX quad, Blasters for being the little ones that could, and so forth. So you know what guys and gals, Shine up that Head pipe, keep mixing your fuel and be proud to own some of the best quads and engine ever built!
