sorry didin't mean to hurt your feelings with all my FACTS. As for seat time you just said that yeah maybe the700 is as fast as the 450 and a piped 660 is as fast as a 700 and you couldn't pull a foot either way so ...I guess all 4- strokes ARE the same! As for the renegade reference, it was made to show how capable it was across the industry. I thought by siteing mags with pro rider reviews it would remove the "me VS this one dude " factor. We all know people that can ride better than others so 1 pro testing 2 or 3 units together evens the field a little doesn't it? well, anyway I'm sure yamaha redesigned it to be worse for a reason. I also thought that since most think the 450 is the king that showing the 700 is very close would show how far it's come since the 660. But I WAS talking about the NEW700SE not an 06, and the 08 comes standard with the good shocks! so I do have seat time,it's just on new high end rides. Also I think if you flip, crash , roll, just about any quad hardcore, aluminum or steel it's gonna be junk. But that's a feeling and I try to stick to facts in a debate. Really all you've done is bash the 700 when you originally said it was the same as the 660.....not even the 660 was all that bad.

stop quoting other people and telling me what you read in magazines, go ride things and form your opinions based on experience , first hand, i dont care what dirt wheels and atv sport say, i got them for years, and stopped because of that, they lie about everything, the best quad is the one that pays more for advertising and gives the editors kid a new quad, its all bullshit, i hate to break it to you, the raptor is a big tourqey motor, thats great.. if thats what you want, its a nice bike, if that what you want, it needs a much lower center of gravity, its still a bit narrow, the setaing position is uncomfortbale, the bars are way too low for the seat heighjt, and the technology isnt really tried and true yet on quads , like it is on cars, id rather have 2 caberators, any moron with a screw driver and wrench can rejet a carb and take it apart and clean it,, as far as all the shit yuou are implying i said, from the sounds of it... i never said all 4 strokes are the same, you never hurt my feelings with any facts, cause u didnt state many that really mattered..i neever said it was worse than the 660...i never said the 450 was king of anything..and you say im bashing the 700.. all im doing is giving you facts, from things that have happend to 700;s of people i know.. you know, real first hand experience.. something you wouldnt know anything about..you get your info from magazines and "pro riders" .. sorry.. and the "come sstandard with the good shocks'... most people riding those 450;s and rraptors, are selling their shocks and gettin good ones, along with the a-arms, and like i said i never bashed the 700.., but fromn the sounds of it you ride one...? what exactly do you ride? you are hypin up this 700 and you never even sat on one i bet, let alone ripped one through the gears on the trails..its a great quad, for what it is, but sorry, its got just as many, if not more, faults than the next quad,, and aint all that fast, a running piped banshee will walk past a piped 700 ,, thats not saying much for 20 years of technology, sorry

Ijust said I rode a NEW one. I based an opinion against my best friends 660. I ride a FULL TRINITY POWER VALVE 400! 115 HP! FULL RACE AND TUNNEL PORT. Pg 2 or 3 you said you ride a stock shee now your saying a piped shee pulls all day blah blah how would you know? You've got time to have a 12 post a day rating an still have a stock shee? Put down the beer push the keyboard away stop calling guys with real shit morons and go build something you can talk about! The 700's for my wife but I like it as much as the 450's. swearing and calling me names won't win the arguement. those a-arms you bashed are the same as on the 450 you've raved about in the past. I have seat time but you would'nt respect that,so I site a 3rd party as evidence of what I've allready learned. As for the fact that the 500 shee is an april fools joke...you must have read the dirt wheels! Every year they do that . But the point is the engine is allready done WE as the buying public could convince them to build it. You said over all this time that a piped 450 runs with the700 and a piped 660 is as fast as a 700 and feels the same so that would mean " to those of us not to drunk to prossess thought" that the machines run the same. I'm not saying you said it, but we can think it thru on our own. your to mad to prossess thought! First you say I have no experience on a 700 " never even sat on one" then you think i have one. Now your just flailling. thats what you do when you fall you flail. After checking some of your previous "self admited drunken ramblings " am I to believe that your 230LB ass is beating anything on a stock shee with no pipes? Get some pipes and then youll have a reason to jet, then you can learn, then you can speak to those of us with more real seat time on good machines about how to make that thing worthy. till then keep talking, your bound to be right sooner or later . and remember is swear alot it will make you feel more grown up.

hahah.. someone cant distinguish between a joke and being serious huh?! hahah, yea i think a raptor 250 can smoke a 250r.... you got me there, hahah...you uptight jerkoff, and yea you really got me, i dont know my ass from a hole in the ground, ive been riding with a member from here this past weekend, i think he can attest i have a great running piped banshee and its far from stock, but anyway im not here to argue on the internet,im here to learn shit from people who know more than me, i never claimed to know everything, or even a lot, but the things i do know about, i try to help others with.. you are all bent outa shape over nothing, just dont post things you read in magazines and people wont bash you, if we all beleievd what we read in dirtwheels we would all own raptors or 450's...i never bashed any of them, the raptor 700 is an awesome machine, it has loads of torque and is an awesome trail machine, i love the yfz 450 too, its a blast to ride on the trails, tons of torque, but sorry i just like my banshee alot more, is that ok? no ones trying to go toe to toe moron,, you need to calm the fuck down and learn to disagree without fighting like a child... also learn not to take eveyrhting so seriously, if i truly believed a 250 raptor would beatr a 250r, i should be beatin with a stick and left out in the rain,

I's a 2-stroke site, your suposed to like your banshee more .I don't falt you for that, but as far as you saying the 660 and 700 feel the same.......I don't know what else I could say to others to counter that statement than what I've said so far. It's stuff like that, that gets people calling them craptors. I know most are just 2-stroke fans but it is a far better machine than the 660 and very, very close to the 450 and that's what I've been saying. I've ridden both and felt a big difference and just don't see anything other than the name that is the same. As for the stick and the rain ....let's just hold off on that one for awhile.

maybe it came out wrong, i didnt mean they felt the exact SAME, but power wise, a piped 600 definatley runs with a 700, yea i call them craptors, even to my friend who owns one... but its all in good fun, they are still nice quads, but have many faults that should have been made better than they were with the big re-design, they definatly made it BETTER, of course, but still alot of room for improvement , they are still very top heavy and tippy, still narrow and need to be widened out, and you sit very high up, even a banshee has a much better , lower center of gravity and you sit much lower..i understand its intended purpose is a big bore trail machine, and the compression ratio is lower than those high strung 450's, but either way, for a fuel injected 686 cc motor, it should be makin more power, the torque is great, but it lacks a top end, and the 450's are too cramped i think, im only 6 foot and they are tight, either way , ill stick to the banshee

O.K. now were talking! no more late night posts for either of us , it comes out ,and goes in all wrong. I've said it in the past but it's worth repeating 450=90% track, 10% everything else. 700=90% everything else, 10% track. Keep that in mind when you buy and you'll end up with the right machine for your ride style. I have a wife + 3 kids..sole bread winner, I can't be going wide open into turn 1 on a mx track. That stuff just wouldn't fly if I got hurt, so the raptor is my best pick. The dunes is my place to get my speed on, and for that I count on my shee. But as we've all heard even the dunes can take you out as it did to one of our own recently. Heck my wife got launched this past weekend... snap goes the tail bone! she's gonna feel that for awhile, but it could have been worse, so we count our blessings and move on. just ride at your own level, ride safe, and keep an eye out for the other jackass.....a group was ridding drunk at silverlake and DNR didin't do a damn thing.

My 07 Raptor 700 and my 99 Banshee would run neck and neck through 5 gear. At the time the banshee had a UNI air filter, the raptor had a FMF exhaust system and UNI air filter. I love the banshee for speed.
