Heads up Jersey riders

Im putting this out there as a warning to all my fellow rides close to the burlington county area especially the Pemberton, Browns mills area... I had a bud at work give me an article about how Police Chief Robert Lewandowski announced a new intiative yesterday that the department is going to add special patrols targeting illegal use of all terain vehicles primarily quads. they will be using all terain vehicles of there own to police the trails and local township pits.. that is some thing we here all the time. but what really pissed me off is a local shop SURF AND TURF POWERSPORTS donated the atv to the cops... so I would like to say F U to Coby Frier the owner of SURF and Turf! who I sent an email to this morning voicing my discust at him and his buisiness and that I will not be supporting his hypocritical ass in anyway and that i would pass the word on to every one who will listen who is an atv enthusiast... Its really got me fired up!!!! they will let a dual sport run on state forrest and township land if its registered and insured but they wont let a quad even if its insured and registered, that and we dont have anywhere to ride! ... yeah there is an orv park but it will be closed soon its 80 acres of suck and they want like 400 a year to join. we gotta start making some noise about this shit I dont want to run from the fuzz but now we HAVE NO CHOICE i dont want my bike to be impounded so some dick can steal parts... they WILL impound your bike says the article and it leaves us with no other alternative.. I just want to give a heads up and vent while im on lunch

dont worry, this is nothing new, theres been patrols on the train tracks next to me for yeears. thats why i stopped riding there, i can cross my street, his the train traacks, and ride for miles and miles and miles, trails everywhere, used to ride 4-5 days a week and never have a problem 4-5 years ago..last few years they got outa control, ive had guns pulled on me, my friend had one pull out in front of him while doing 60mph down the tracks, needless to say he couldnt stop and ran into the cop, they are out of their minds, and need to worry abotu real crime, but oh well.... welcome to jersey! dont you love it?, thank god i live about 10 mins from the border of PA, thats all i got to say

That sucks bro. We still have lots of places to ride in Pa but, they are cracking down in some areas. Its now a 1500 dollar fine if you get caught on the abandond train tracks in my area. Plus they impound your machine.

Ever try to catch one of your friends while riding ?? its almost impossible right. even when your trying to get them to stop to tell them something. hopefully the fuz cant ride for shyt, Ive been hassled a couple times, i always roost it hard and make so much dust they cant follow me, or climb a nice hill and stop at the top, wait for them then roost em ! this works with A hole riders, should work for A hole cops pretending to be riders

I feel your pain, north east Illinois has been that way for years. There are several hundred golf courses between lake and cook county but not one (that I know of) place to legally ride! The fuzz around here like to steal your ride after they block the trails with their pick ups and suvs. Ive never been caught but know many that have. Illinois is a socialist state that completely sucks a$$.

we dont have to worry about the cops around here anymore because there is no place to ride locally. thier building shit everywhere, on a lot of land we used to ride on now has either a subdivision or some kind of business on it. hell they just built a new elementary school on one the the best local spot. so now its just pretty much the power lines or we have 400 acres of land my family owns about an hour from me, trails every where and flat track too, but with the price of gas and my dually only gets about 8 mpg (460 gas motor) . but i feel your pain bro.

That's a crock of sh*t. I am so sick of the police bothering ATVs. Isn't there more important things for them to be doing? How about all the meth problems in the country?.....or the robbers, murderers, and drug dealers?
No, they would rather screw with riders doing nothing but trying to have a good time.

thats because atv riders are an easy target. they know we wont ditch our rides just to get away. easy to make thier quota for the month plus a little money for impound lot fees.
