A couple months ago there was lineup of accidents on quads. At least two riding on the road with no helmet and a couple of people just not wearing a helmet.

where i live theres this dip$h!t down the road on a banshee with toomys and he went by doin like 70mph and no helmet i was gunna ride down there and wack him in the head with my helmet then kick him in the nuts. That just goes to show how stupid some ppl are. too much weed kills brain cells.

I am just kindof interested in all the different states represented on here, how many of you have helmet laws?? I live in MN and we don't. Not even on motorcycles. And that is just stupid, a guy just died on friday a mile from my mom's house cuz a Harley got cliped by a car at an intersection and the harley lost. Of course no helmet. I for one always wear one, esp when on the shee. I just don't get though how the cops can force you to wear your seat belt but not a helmet. Makes no sense to me. So what is your states take on the issue???????????

here in indiana we have to wear 5 gallon buckets on our head thats the law lol

anyway we donl;t have helmets laws here. so you can ride a GSXR1000 at 165 with no helmet if you want. i just call it weeding out the stupid.

Here in mich, you have to wear a DOT approved helmet if you ride on the road with a motorcycle. At the tracks, they want you to have a DOT/SNELL approved helmet, but they only can inforce the DOT approval.

Here in Iowa you don't have to wear a helmet on the road but you have to wear one at the state parks to ride a quad or a bike.

Here in NY I think there is a law for everything
Helmets are required for motorcyclists on the road, bicyclists under a certain age (13 or 14 I think) have to wear a helmet, I believe snowmobile and atv riders have to wear a helmet when riding on public land/state designated trails which require registered/licensed/and sometimes insured machines. Other than that I think it is just in one's best interests to wear a helmet, even if you are an experienced rider someone or something else could still cause you to wreck

i'm not sure of the laws about helmets on atv's here in pa, i know you don't need one for a motorcylce on the road, and the stupid sh*t that wrecked, was he on a POS fourpoke?
