I'm not gonna be like most of the rest of you guys and try to hop on a high horse and say the guy was an idiot for riding on the road and without a helmet so he deserved. I've done it. I'm sure some of you guys have done the same and I'm sure a lot of you have ridden without a helmet at least to test your quad out in your yard. We all do stupid stuff. Some of us get away with it, but the unlucky ones don't. This guy was unlucky because he crashed, but he was lucky that he survived without any major injuries.

Ya, Pa just changed the law last year. We used to have to wear helmets on the road, but now we don't. Can't figure it out.

Nobody can figure it out, especially considering the law is that you must wear a seatbelt in cars. I'm all for it, though, as long as taxpayers don't end up supporting vegetables. If I want to take a 10 minute ride without a helmet, I should be able to. This is the land of the free afterall. I refuse to wear seatbelts too.
