I saw that infomercial for the motor too, i think i've seen it on twice now. Every one on there was just cutting down 4strokes left and right and thought the 2strokes were the shit. Some times i forget about all the other types of 2stroke motors.

I saw it three!! haha. In it, they did an efficiency test and they showed that the 2-stroke v6 225hp was 53 times as efficient as a yamaha 225hp motor. Theres no breakin period on it, and its way lighter. thats all i can remember!

I saw it too....remember the drag race? that says it all in my opinion....the 4 pokes got SMOKED!!! The yamaha and mercury 4 strokes were dead even, and the Evinrude 2-smoke beat them by 5 seconds in a 2 mile "drag race" all 3 boats were running 225 horse motors. I bet 225 horseys would make a little bass boat like they were using haul some decent @ss...

didn't they say somethin glike you can run it for 5 hours with no oil....it just won't go over a certain RPM or somethin glike that? thats nuts!!!

Thats what it was that made them so effiecient. Fuel was only injected only after the exhaust port was closed which allowed a more complete burn and no waste of fuel.
