rotax is staying 2-stroke 95% of the way all their R&D is going into 2-strokes they are making very few 4-strokes they have a few here and there but they have 2-stroke motors that surpass the 4-strokes emissions by a mile and they are still alot more powerful and better suited for recreational use than a 4-stroke.
When you get that mach zs fouled spark plug out and changed youll see differently about your zr800 beating it unless the zr800 has aftermarket pipes/silencers, reeds, bigbore, whatever your not going to see it beat a mach z because a zr800 will not nearly touch 130mph if its even close to stock which a 1 mile drag is plenty of time to hit top speed. I had one and the primary clutch fell off going about 90 and that was my last deal with artic cat. The guy driving the mach z is probably too scared to push the throttle all the way. I still gotta get off my ass and race a new mach z to see how well it can keep up with my lake runner but I really want to get a mach z and make it a lake runner but not at a 10,000 pricetag.
