I like the 685. Advertised HP numbers indicate that if you take it on the trails with your buddies you can get them to tell you what kind of soil you are riding on. I used to have an '81 490 that was the best Monster Crosser I ever rode so I am partial to Maicos.

I love the old Maicos! My only question is where are they made at and how did they get around the EPA. It's quite possible they won't be for sale here in the states.

A 685 2 stroke dirtbike????!!! Who TF in their right mind would put themselves through that. I gotta admit those are some sweet looking bikes. Wonder what the price tag is and if they will be available in the states.
