yea i was wondering with the price of regular gas going up. what is the price of avation gas at?

its usually 15% higher than premium pump gas , i just bought some yesterday at the airport, it was 3.74$ per gallon

wit h the addition of oxygen in it ,in theory it should require a jetting change t o richen it up a tad ,id do tha t (1 main size bigger)to be safe and see how it reacts . i run mine just a cunt hair rich to compensate, and it works really good for me ,but i have a nology high output ingition and 5 degree timing advance too which coupled with the av gas and a 50-1 klotz technaplate makes for a super clean consistent burn on my platinum plugs

ive heard that running av gas is bad for an engine, this winter my cylinder and piston are going to be ported and made into a high compression engine. will running av gas be as good as a race gas, or should i not get my head milled and contine to run 93 octane pump gas?

itll work great ,but be sure to only get the 100ll itll be colored blue and smell like old gym socks

100ll? what does that mean, and you can buy it at any airport right? because i live very clost to an airport and it would be so much easier to get it ther than ordering it from VP

LL stands for low lead, but only low compared to there red high lead fuel ..the 100 is the octane rating ,its actually like 99.5 octane on our automobile rating system .try it youl llike it and itll deter detonation as good as any race gas will IMO

i used to run 112 octane leaded in my 1995 yz80 before i moved up and it loved it, the only reason that i dont run it in my 125 is because the motor is all stock, do they also have high lead because lead helps on 125s doesnt it???

lead lubricates and is grea t at stopping detonation ,it leaves tiny lead -buildup deposits though which are bad for valves on 4 jokes ,but no problem for 2 strokes cause of the way its burned and expelled plus we freshen topends more frequently
