Are they Bringing the 250R back OUT

I spoke to a head guy over Honda this weekend and he said in 2008 there goin to bring the R back out said approximently 3,000 of them in a fuel injected version for EPA he said they will retail for around 7,500 dollars,Fuel injection would that mess up the powerband feel because it would be not able to go through the reeds right he also said they will be 2 1/4 inches longer than the 450R and 1 inch wider Also there will be putting the 450R shocks on itsupposedly I was wondering if any one else has heard about it.???????? I really thought it was rumors though but a couple of people at the honda place has heard of it to.The manufacturing plant my Granddad works there thats how I heard of it then I went with him to work and talked to a few other people they said yes so I dont know has anyone heard about it yet

The manager I am not sure thats juast what I had heard The plant were they make the ATV's I wasnt sure THATS just what Brian said and some co-workers

i know that honda america is making a 250R with the 400ex frame and a cr250 motor...might just be something on this order but this one from honda america was like 12 grand or something like that. it was high priced. but i never heard anything about this

I doubt it. They gave the dirt bike guys rear kick, but they gave quads stupid forward kick. Doesn't make sense to me...

service honda does the cr250 powered 400ex's... hell service honda is 45 mins from my house.. and as for the NEW 250R... i doubt it highly... they might make a 250R thats a 250 4 stroke..... but FUCK THAT... if a 250cc 2 stroke does come on the market it'll sell like hotcakes

Not to burst your bubble, but honda is the only company to offer kick start with their 450. When it comes to kick start machines, honda seems to be the only company that is keeping them around.

Now as far as the new 250r, i am confused on two things. First of all, you said that guy said they were limiting the production to 3,000 units. If that was the case, then the price tag wouldn't be 7500 because thats just not sensible marketing. IF!!!!! they were to make a shittier version of the 250r (i.e. Fuel injection) then at 3000 units it would make more sense to price it around $10,000. Second of all, why would they do all the research and spend time and money, just to produce 3000 units, thats just stupid.
