Not fully.. Inner thigh area has spandex stretchie type material, also has a strip right behind you, right below your belt.
Though they grip a bit, they still stretch so you don't promote plumber crack!
Just to add, there'a a velcro strap on the bottom so you may taper them as you like.
The pockets are big and deep. I can carry my cam/cell in one pocket with room to spare & 4-5drinks in the other pocket.

Expensive but a well desinged riding pant.
