 Blaster with gt250 engine?
First of has anyone ever done this ahah , i baught a blaster off of buddy for 200$ , he was riding it one day and the thing lost fire , so i baught it like it , needs 2 front wheel bearings, break cable, and well a running engine , i hauled the engine apart and the crank is twisted , and there looks like wear on hte stater as well, so i want to mod it out a bit, and im thinking of a suzuki gt250 engine, its a twin cylinder,2 stroke, that supposedly makes 31 hp at the crank , and i figure with a set of expanshion chambers and a bit of work i can get close to 40 for sure, but i want to know how hard it would be to do, then engine isnt even to big itself, i know were to get one minus the carbs, supposed to be running, so im just wondering prety much would it be worth doing, and i should be able to make enough parting the blaster engine to cover hte cost of the motor and possibly even the bike. so give me some input , and if anyone ever done this, post a pic or vid. |
