I THINK the only reasom it could have cost that much is they had to replace the crank bearings.anytime i have dropped a piston the bottom end was filled with aluminum peices.I too have learned a lesson trusting others to work on my shit, HAVENT had a wrenched turned on my car, truck, or any of my toys in 1o yrs. UNLESS you are rich i would suggest learning to work on your own stuff.Nothing a 6 pack and a few wrenches cant fix!
