200 egs head / barrell im havin troubles wiv my head as the gasket isnt sealing right, ive have taken the barrell and head into my work (im an apprentice precision engineer) and cleaned and flattened the the mating surface on the barrell after measuring up the head ive found that it is flat to .0002mm so im guessin i dont need to skim it! but when i put the two together i have a gap of 1.06mm where the gasket should be, because the centre of the head is sat on top of the barrell. The manual i have suggests a gasket thickness of 1.1mm. to me it seems as if the gasket would not be squashed at all in between my head and barrel. im just wondering if anyone knows how big this gap should be if it should be there at all??? any info is useful cheers
