 2-stroke sport bike info needed
Hey I'm new here looking for some info. I've got an 01 suzuki gsx-r chassis collecting dust and I was always very interested in the two stroke days of the motogp class. I'm not looking to do a complete replica of a bike just something enjoyable to ride. I guess what I'm asking is what 2 stroke motors are not extremely hard to find, are unit contruction, and would power a sportbike nicely. I think I could pretty easily do the swap if I had the right engine. I'm just not familiar with any older 2 stroke street bikes. All I've found was some kawi gt750 triples but I don't know how performanced based they were... any help would be great,, thanks! |
