what does new ones go for in canada that sounds high to me ya may just want to get a gsxr my 06gsxr was my and the wifes first bike and she loves it the price was alot more cous it was new but i think anyone would out grow the 500 and would want to upgrade sortlly after riding it a 600 is not that bigger and the power is there when ya get used to it just my 2 cent
