It's a missprint! I already called them a couple of months ago- it doesn't come with the back plate. I had the rep go open a box for me and check it out- then I raised cane about it saying that it does on the web site. I wanted to do the same thing that you want to do but you're going to have to buy the complete cr kit and a lighting stator. I went ahead and bought my ignition- I wanted to make sure that it's worth it before I buy the lighting stator- their around $150 for all the brands. I have an 01' ignition but I haven't tried it yet. 92'-01' will work excluding the year that had an electronic carb unless you want to buy the carb as well. They say that 01' is the best year but I talked with a guy that has hp shop and has done allot of these and he said they all put out about the same hp the 00' & 01' just have didital CDI's. He actually made mt adapter plate for me. |
