You can get a dyno to read whatever you want. Also, 2 stroke hp and 4 stroke hp are completely different; they shouldn't even be compared. If I remember right, it was a feat for the dirt bike 450s to get 62hp out of their engines. That makes it hard to believe you would be pushing 60 with a counterbalanced engine in a quad frame.
Why would an mx ready quad not be designed to be fast? sounds pretty realistic
You could probably beat an R450 with a drag ported 250 cylinder, though it would be worthless for anything else.
I would race an mx 310 with proper set-up against a 450 on a track and I know it can be set up to win in a drag.
Two strokes are very capable in drag racing; the disadvantage is, unlike the R450, they won't be good for anything else once set up.
