I hate to say it but I think for your experience you might wanna NOT go for the CR250. You're too big for a 125, so even though this is a 2stroke website im gonna go with a Crf250r. The power for you would be fine on a 125, just not the size. The Crf is a few more hp, and slightly bigger. I think the 4poke will be your best bet.
Unless you ride ALOT and ride the track a few good times, i dont know if you'll be ready for a beginner race at a national level track. It may be "beginner" but it still requires more then the experience you'll have. At least for your safety.
