Good news!!! Its out!!! Used a four inch "c" clamp. I bought one with rubber feet on both ends, so as to not damage the piston. Worked great. Thanks for the suggestion.

There is really no wear on the pin, because there were NO FRIGGIN THRUST WASHERS THERE!!! The top was recently rebuit, previous owner claimed it has 10 hrs at the most on it. I will still replace the pin anyway, it wouldn't hurt.
