Default e3 spark plugs

I was watching nhra drag racing on espn the other day and they had a commerical that advertised these spark plugs called "E3 with diamond fire technology". I checked out their website, http://www.e3sparkplugs.com/ and they look pretty cool, but im guessing they are pretty damn expensive, like 7 or 8$ a plug or more. they say they improve fuel economy and power, and thats what i'd like if they are for real. I drive a 4 cyl 5 speed truck as my daily driver and I plan on changing the plugs on the next oil change (about 1500 2000 more miles). i'd like to try these if I know for sure they would perform as they say and not just be a waste of money.
