38 Air Stryker is Probably the best carb...should be plenty for a 310.
This is not from experience rather just trolling the net getting info for myself but I hear the ESR valves are the best for top end vforce for the low mid range.
My understanding also is the 330 is harder on tranny's loads more power but more reliability issues.
