to answer your question.... yes! blasting them will remove the chrome... i have done it before a few times with the blaster at my work.... usualy, we blast them and paint them flat black, or gloss black.... but one time we left them bare, we used a clear coat over the top of them. they never rusted! worked great...... make sure the clear coat is heat resistent! |
