Question Could it be ignition problem?

I have a 1986 TRX which keeps fouling plugs. The bike runs real good and I can trail ride for a few hours. When I foul the plug I change it and the new one does not last near as long as the first and it get worse with time. I have been told that it is the stator and or the trigger pickup. I have been dealing with this for a while and it is driving me crazy. At first I thought that it was jet related so I played around with them. I replaced the reeds and the compression is over 120. The bike starts with just one kick. I think it may be an intermitting ignition which is aggravated by heat.
