My air fooler R!

well here is my 1983 air cooled 250R....it started life when I got it with the hondaline 300 big bore on it, and I used it in oem shape for about a year, then one fatefull day not to long after the first pics were taken it busted a piston, well after a lond time searching I found a piston etc etc... then while getting bored to fit, the machine finds that my sleeve is cracked! so I opted to put a 250 top end back on it to make it back a runner again... I have another project that I want to get finished so I may never put the 300 kit back on or I may even sell this trike any way here are some pics, the last set was taken this afternoon 1/15/08 after I put the new decals on

Is that head light from a 1986R?

I do alot of gas tank restorations on 3wheelerworld mine was nothing different the front has the 85 250R headlight and shroud on it along with the 85-86 250R front fender. Its still not all put together and tightened up yet, Im waiting on a coil after sitting around for 9 months the coil decided to hitch a ride somewhere I dont know so Im waiting on that and a few more things.

My first "dunner" as a kid was an '81 250r. All red, and I do mean ALL red.
