1984 tecate??

hey guys its been a while since i have been on here. i sold my old 86 trx250r and im lookin to get back into the 2 stroke world.

i have a yz250 now and 2 wheels just arent enough for me

i have a guy willing to trade me a 84 tecate 3 for it. my bike is a 1994 and it has been rode pretty hard in the past. i only paid just over 400 for the yz all in all

the tecate is pretty much all stock, it has a new stator and coil and all that jazz, new plastic, and an extended axel.

one big selling point of this bike is that this guy is the original owner!

i do mostly trail riding and i am planning to build this bike to my liking, as would be expected.

i guess what im asking is if anyone has information on this trike to help me make my decision, or if you personally would make the trade

i dont really have cash so this trade could work out good, but if i could get someone to trade a blaster or an older banshee or something would that be better?

i like the fact that it is different and not many people have them

any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

sounds like a steal. most one owner bikes that look o.k. have been well maintained and loved through their life........I've never been lucky enough to buy anything that has been maintained or even half-assed cared for
