All of your questions have been answered there.

Here is a boot I sold on ebay for $27:
eBay Motors: 1983 1984 1985-86 KX250 TECATE KXT250 INTAKE BOOT CARB (item 260243438211 end time May-25-08 18:15:55 PDT)

These intake boots have gone for over $120 NOS while other nice ones go for cheap. If you want to lose the airbox virtually every KX500 KX2500 boot fits but angles to the left side.

83-84 KX250 has the same motor. KX250 top end is better and so is the stator/flywheel (but no lights).

Ebay for repair manual. Don't think 3ww has one posted for free.

I've been reading the forums over there for over a week. I joined over a week ago. They still won't let me have access to post there. I've tried digging into the forums to find answers. But with me being unable to post, I have no way of asking them for direction.

But, thank you for the info. It's very helpful. I did find a repair manual.

So, I can use an 83-84 KX 250 top end, stator and fly wheel? It doesn't bother me not to have lights. I never ride after dark.

It needs a lot of work. It will be a long road to restore it but that is part of the fun, I guess.
