| Are you going to paint the radiator or the radiator guard? If you paint the radiator, you might notice more heat but it shouldn't overheat. You can paint the engine without a problem. Some engines can from the factory painted, ie the zilla. |

| I painted the radiators on my old kx250 and had no problems. I have also painted radiators on cars with no notice of temp increase.

| Thanks to all of you for the advice. Now I can paint away and feel safe about it. Plus, I hope i don't annoy you all with all my questions. I have a ton of questions and will certainly have many more. I have been out of the game for quite a while and I need lots of help to get back into it all. So I appreciate the patience and help i have gotten so far. |
