the thing is that most of the speedos can't be trusted, ski-doo's have been the closest i have seen over the years, polaris ones are about 4-5mph off all the time, GPS or the gun is the only way to go!, and the radar times for a run that is only 500' is a shitty way to test a sleds speed. your smaller displacement sled are geared to get up to speed quick to compencate for there lack of tourque. it's not completley crazy that a 500 could infact beat a 700.although it would be one shitty 700. i don't see it beating an F-7 but if set up right should hold it's own against a stock 600. my 800 xcr has a hard time beating a well set up 700 twin. is all about what each one is set up for and wether the guy doing it know's what in the hell he is doing.
