IMO get the 250R. They are proven quads. They are reliable and they set the standard for handling. Plus there is a HUGE aftermarket for them. Parts will not be a problem any time soon. From what I've read the Gas Gas has harsh suspension even though the shocks are Ohlins. Plus Gas Gas's are not all that big in the US so finding a dealer for parts and repairs may not be as easy finding a dealer for one of the big four manufacturers. I'm not sure about the reliability, but the engine looks like a second rate company produced it. That's unsettling to me. Then there's the fact that they are expensive. As for the LT500, it's hard to find parts for them so that would be a big downfall with that quad. |
