If wiseco reccomends .010 clearance than I would imagine that is correct. The wiseco pistons expand significantly and quickly, and are prone to cold seizing as a result. I just tore mine down, the clearance is .014 on what I was told to be an almost new wiseco piston. That is enough to rattle the piston around in the sleeve that is for sure, and I could have sworn I heard some piston slap.
