go for the 88-90 years. the 87 had head problems but they can be fixed. and the 87 had the bigger intake port and could be made to have more horespower(in theory). waterpumps are always prone to leaking. main bearing journals are a weak area. and as with any quad or bike check it out all over for bearing wear(wheels, axle, swingarm, rear linkage) |
