i agree but also disagree..ignition timing ,porting ,how hot a spark, alot of things come into play detonation. i know of peeps on a couple sites with very advanced timing ,drag ported 4 millcubs and very high compression who run av gas at glamis on scorching hot days and have no prbolems with detonation . 100ll will resist detontation moreso than 100 octane race gas will even though its rating is identical !!!!! |
