I live in CT...In this town, there is already have a noise ordinance. I know just about every police officer by name because of it. Its total bullshit that I cannot make a little noise... its not like my fuckin neighbors are in my backyard. I have over 5 acres of land and so do they.
Here is a bit of the town noise ordinance.
"The noise ordinance states that only certain decibel levels are allowed at certain hours. In residential zones, the permitted decibel levels (dbA) are 55 dbA in the daytime (7:00 am to 8:59 pm) and 45 dbA in the nighttime (9:00 pm to 6:59 am)"
The ordinance also includes disallowing use of internal combustion engines on the weekends. The measurements are from one foot over property line.
But if any bullshit legislation gets passed preventing use of all ORV's someone is going to die.
