if it was me i wouldnt waste my time fabbing up plates and shit to run 2 old archaic roundslide shitty blaster carbs (fucker will leak probably anyways). the idea of small carbs is for response and lowend torque on small displacment motors ,your building a drag motor ,you want full throttle ballz to the wall CFM flow at top rpms . its not an easy task to build a 250 with killer topend manners and retain usuable lowend torque drag motors dont like really high compression cause it hurts theyre ability to rev high and knocks down the potential peak rpms ,but 250's seem to really like high compression around 200 mark though ,some motors just favor that .
