i have taken the intake window on the back of a piston and raised an lowered it before (tecate 4) and also when i widen the intake port i trim the piston window to match.....
the reason i raised and lowered the window on teh tecate is because the intake port is the entire height of the intake box on a tecate.... so to adjust the intake duration you'd have to vary the height of the piston intake window.... |
